ALL CHANGE AT CARREG TRUST

It is with great sadness that we can now confirm that Bardsey Island Trust have made a definite decision not to enter into any negotiations with us for a future lease on Carreg Fawr or even the Hermitage; they do not wish for any of their houses on Enlli to be specifically set aside as a place of Christian Retreat and have suggested that we just book Trust houses as required to accommodate our visitors.
At the end of 2009, Ty Encil Carreg on Bardsey will be no more. It has been a great and rewarding project and many people have shared some very special times at Carreg with us and above all with the Lord ! But we now move on. 2009 will be a transition year with our usual programme on Bardsey at Carreg ….. your last chance to book up and come and stay for a time at ‘our house’ !?

From 2010 we shall still be taking groups to the island, but we hope that will be ‘expanding our horizons’, as we are lead by the Lord, to develop events and retreats on the ‘mainland’, especially on Llyn but also to other places of pilgrimage throughout the UK.

We hope that many of you will continue to join us on this the next stage of our pilgrimage.
